The first of four St. Patrick’s Day themed O’races starts and finishes outside Kinsmen Brewing Company, just steps from the Farmington Canal Heritage Trail. A fast 3.1 mile course through rural roads in Southington and Cheshire brings runners back to the festivities at the brewery and taproom. This party of a road race is not to be missed – costumes always encouraged!
All participants receive a St. Paddy’s themed knit beanie hat, high quality and warm with an Irish inspired design. Plus, enjoy a complimentary race photo to keep and share the race memory forever. Participants 21+ (with ID) also enjoy an ice cold craft beer from Kinsmen Brewing and everyone re-fuels with fresh hot pizza from Sauced at Kinsmen, fruit and granola.

Run the northeast corner of Connecticut in a fun 5K that starts and finishes in picturesque downtown Putnam. The loop course along the Quinebaug River finishes in front of the Courthouse Bar & Grille, where the post-race party tops off the Irish celebration. Costumes definitely encouraged!

No blarney, this is a fast and flat 5K! Get in your favorite green gear for a St. Paddy’s themed race that starts and finishes in front of Niantic Bay Bicycles. Run by the quiet, off-season cottages in the Pine Grove community of Niantic, then celebrate your finish with a post-race party at Smarty’s Restaurant & Pub.
All participants receive cozy Irish argyle socks and a complimentary photo to commemorate a great race. After the finish, everyone enjoys hot chili from Smarty’s Restaurant & Pub and participants 21+ (with ID) get an ice cold beer.

The annual O’Hartford road race and Wee Mile o’fficially caps off the four race St. Patrick’s Day series. The 3.1 mile course will see a few changes with some exciting updates in the works for the post-race party! Expect more details later in January.

The physical race has been cancelled, but they will be hosting a virtual run.
This is an accurately measured 6.55 Mile USATF Certified Course (CT07002JHP). Course is a double loop on the closed, paved red trail around the Farmington and West Hartford reservoirs. There are no turns, no cars and no intersections. Each loop features a rolling first mile, a climb during the second mile and a significant downhill to flat during the third mile. (Yes, there are hills, but this is New England so we call them rollers).
Enjoy Middletown’s country roads, Wesleyan University campus and a grand downtown finish on historic Main Street. The 10 mile race is a great early season distance to prep for half marathons in the spring and is a USATF-CT State Championship race.
The Legends Run/Walk loops around Wesleyan in a course about 3.5 miles long that welcomes runners and walkers, accommodating all paces. Both races finish on Main Street, brimming with trendy restaurants and bars, an award-winning local chocolatier, a delectable cupcake bakery and much more.
All finishers receive a high quality short sleeve technical shirt and flashy medal to show off at the post-race celebration, which features pizza from MONDO, chocolate milk and cookies.
HMF Sam Adams Challenge Series: The 10 mile race is the first event in the 2020 Spring Medley Challenge, a NEW offering that will earn participants a custom series tech training shirt. The Medley starts off with 10 miles in Middletown, then hits up the Burlington to Collinsville 10K in May and the challenge ends in June at the UConn Health Half Marathon. DETAILS

A scenic riverside 10K from Burlington to Collinsville takes runners through the multi-use trail along the Farmington River. The course is flat, shaded and filled with incredible views of the sparkling river. Race finish is in downtown Collinsville, a quaint area with restaurants and shops to enjoy post-race festivities.
All participants receive a pair of high quality technical socks and a custom designed finisher medal to commemorate a great race. After the finish, enjoy delicious chili and cornbread made fresh from Lisa’s Crown & Hammer.
HMF Sam Adams Challenge Series: The Burlington to Collinsville Classic is the second in the 2020 Spring Medley Challenge, a NEW offering of the HMF Challenge Series, presented by Samuel Adams, that will earn participants a series tech training shirt.
